i heart stale twizzlers

I swear, I am just taking a quick little break and then back to the books! I got tagged by a few fun bloggers and I had to comply pronto.

First, here are the rules:
1. Link to the person that tagged you and post the rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 random and or weird things about yourself.
3. Tag 7 random people at the end of your post and include links to their blogs.
4. Let each person know that they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

  1. I have to restrain myself from listening to Christmas music before Thanksgiving. I love it and I own a lot of it. I particularly love the jazzy stuff with Bing Crosby, Louis Armstrong ('Zat you, Santa Claus?) and Harry Connick, Jr.
  2. I am obsessed with the mafia. I love mobster movies, but I particularly love real mob stories in Chicago. The Family Secrets trial was amazing.
  3. I also love ghost stories and I have been on a professional ghost tour and several unprofessional ones. I saw the Miami University "Motorcycle Ghost" when I was in college.
  4. When I was in first grade, I stuck paper in my ear because the boy sitting next to me was talking too loud. It got stuck and I had to go to the hospital. That year, I also pretended that I had amnesia for a day (I learned all about it on I Love Lucy). I remember my teacher telling me, during a school mass, that she knew I was fibbing and that God wouldn't like it.
  5. I love doing the laundry and ironing. I always iron my pillow cases and duvet cover and I will do the sheets if I have time.
  6. I HATE wrapping presents. I am very bad at it and I am such a perfectionist that I play around with the paper until it rips or has a million crease marks. Then I give up and buy a bag! Jake enjoys it though, so yay for me. Almost all of our Christmas gifts are already wrapped and under the tree. If only he could wrap his own gifts...
  7. I prefer some candy really stale. I think most people know about Peeps, but also gummy bears/worms, twizzlers, swedish fish and peach rings. Also, raisins, if you count them as candy.
I don't think that I can tag 7 people, I don't know that many bloggers and this little game has definitely made the rounds! It has been fun to read, though! I am going to tag a few fellow bees since it was Elizabeth (Miss Donut) who tagged me first- Meg, Tiffany and Kelly.

Thanks again to Chitown Bride, In This Instance, and A Belle Abroad for including me.
